Networx Firmware - Lock PDL8600 V79c

Networx PDL8600 Firmware- 79c.

• Firmware version 79c is a recommended critical update
• Version 79c improves the lock's data processing and data integrity

Important: After updating the firmware, you MUST perform a FULL download to the lock (i.e. Users, Features, Schedules and Time/Date). Then use a valid code or card to ensure access is granted with its valid "access granted" beeps and LED lights. However, if following the valid "access granted" indication you then hear 1 long beep and 5 short beeps, the lock must then be defaulted, re-discovered and the lock profile re-downloaded. Rest assured that your Gateway always maintains your lock information. Therefore, after defaulting the lock simply re-discover the lock and DL-Windows will manage the "re-configuration process".

Note:  The firmware version letter type case ("upper case" or "lower case") displayed in the file name may differ and from the case displayed in DL-Windows.  Be aware that both letters always denote the same version.

Mortise Installation Template (with "Door Monitoring", WI2036)

Mortise Installation Template (with "Door Monitoring", WI2036).

Some mortise locks have a "Door Monitoring" feature that necessitates a "door contact" hole be drilled.  Therefore, the "door contact" hole was added to the standard Mortise Installation Template (WI1003) to make this template WI2036.  Use this Mortise template WI2036 with the Mortise installation instructions and its supplement (WI2023) describing the steps required to install the "door contact" hole.

IMPORTANT!  WHEN PRINTING OR PHOTOCOPYING A TEMPLATE, ALWAYS SELECT PRINTING OPTIONS TO ENSURE THAT COPIES ARE PRINTED WITHOUT SIZE ADJUSTMENTS.  ALWAYS VERIFY DIMENSIONS ON THE TEMPLATE AFTER PRINTING.
