FAQs
My DL-Windows database was lost, and I was forced to install a new copy of DL-Windows in my computer. Can I retrieve previously programmed data from a Trilogy (non-Networx) door lock that was previously programmed by that lost database?
Yes, you can! If your DL-Windows database is lost or corrupted and you install a new instance of DL-Windows, the following data can be retrieved directly from previously programmed Trilogy T3 door locks:
- PIN codes
- Schedules
- Features
- Audit Trail (logs)
Note: The names of users are NOT recoverable as names are only programmed in DL-Windows and are not transferred to (and do not reside in) lock memory.
Regarding Networx locks: The only information that can be recovered from a Networx lock is the Audit Trail, as Audit Trails always remain in lock memory. Note also that Networx locks must be reset before they can reconnect to a new instance of DL-Windows.
