Why is the zone I added to PCD-Windows Quickloader not working as expected?
One of the most common mistakes when adding zones to a control panel is forgetting to add the zone to an Area. The Quickloader screen below shows zones that are not assigned to an Area (arrows):
Be sure to select the dropdown to select the desired Area for that zone.
After making your changes, be sure to download the programming differences and restart the control panel from the Primary Status and Control tab:
